The whole group of runners... David came in second place -behind a 9-year-old whirlwind. The rest of us were far behind, but managed to finish in less than 45 minutes!
It's a good thing we aren't too competetive. Jared and Kendra thought it would be better to casually explore the route.
We found a big hole that looked like a fun place to climb into. The kids couldn't resist checking it out.
Too exhausted to keep moving, they took a break in the stroller.
Dad finished the race, then came back to rescue us. The little ones were too tired to keep running so they piled into (and onto) the stroller and David helped us to the finish line.
Chillin'afterward.The race bagan at a ranch with several horses. The kids had a lot of fun playing with them before we went home.
