Jared had a plan as he went into creating his pinewood derby car! First of all, he was partiotic... last year's car was red, this year white, next year's will be blue. And he didn't want it cut, he wanted to have a block car. We thought it would be nice and easy but it turned out to be quite a challenge to cut out enough wood from the center to keep it within the weight limit. He decorated it with wheels from old pinewood derby cars. The finished product is... THE WHEEL-MOBILE!
Unfortunately, it didn't race as well as he would have liked. He finally won a heat after the official races were over.
